Terms of Service

IMPORTANT: PipePrep AI is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the United Association (UA), GAN Human Resources, or any union, training committee, or testing organization. Using this app does not guarantee any test score, interview outcome, or apprenticeship placement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PipePrep AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Michael Briglio / Imperium Power Systems ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of PipePrep AI.

2. Description of Service

PipePrep AI provides:

  • Original practice questions and full-length practice tests for the aptitude battery used by union pipe-trades apprenticeships (plumber, pipefitter/steamfitter, sprinkler fitter, HVAC technician)
  • An AI tutor for study questions and worked explanations
  • An AI mock-interview mode that simulates the structured panel interview and scores your answers
  • Study tools and progress tracking stored on your device

All practice content is original and created by us. It is not copied from, licensed by, or representative of any actual exam administered by GAN Human Resources or any other testing organization.

3. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

Read carefully before relying on AI responses.

PipePrep AI uses artificial intelligence to generate tutor responses and interview feedback. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses:

  • May contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
  • Are practice and study aids, not predictions of how a real panel or test will score you
  • Do not reflect the policies of any specific local, training committee, or testing organization

Always verify application requirements, test formats, and interview procedures with the specific local or training committee you are applying to — they vary by location.

4. No Guarantee of Results

Apprenticeship selection is competitive: locals typically rank applicants using a combination of aptitude test results and interview scores, and select from the top of the list. PipePrep AI is a preparation tool only. We make no guarantee — express or implied — of any test score, interview score, ranking, or apprenticeship placement.

5. Subscription & Billing

Free Tier

The App offers free features so you can evaluate it before subscribing. Free feature limits are shown in the App and may change over time.

Pro Subscription

A Pro subscription unlocks the full question banks, unlimited AI tutor use, and the mock-interview mode. Current prices and billing periods are displayed in the App at the time of purchase.

Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their standard refund policies. We do not directly process refunds. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you in advance of any price changes. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to pay the new price.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in PipePrep AI — including the practice questions, AI system, app design, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Imperium Power Systems. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

United Association®, UA®, and any testing-organization names referenced are trademarks of their respective owners. PipePrep AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

PipePrep AI and Imperium Power Systems shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

  • Test scores or interview outcomes
  • Apprenticeship ranking or placement decisions
  • Loss of income or opportunity
  • Reliance on AI-generated responses that contain errors

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-query the AI assistant
  • Resell or sublicense access to the App or its question content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to terminate your access for violations of these terms without refund.

9. App Store Terms

If you download PipePrep AI from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Imperium Power Systems only — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Similarly, if you download from Google Play, these Terms are between you and Imperium Power Systems. Google is not a party to this agreement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PipePrep AI at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and deleting the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
